2024 Hajj was a successful one – Rabiat Umar

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Alkauthar travels and tours, Hajia Rabiat Umar has described the general conduct of the 2024 Hajj Operation as a successful one.
In a chat with Businesses Affairs at her corporate headquarters in Abuja, Umar while acknowledging that every Hajj year comes with its own challenges annually especially with modification and changes in security by Saudi authorities which is not different from what has always happened.
Alkauthar travels and tours is a leading travels agency in Nigeria. The company managed over seven thousand pilgrims in 2024 Hajj operation.
On why those who pay for some services didn’t get value for what they paid for, the CEO pleaded with her clients, saying the fault was not entirely theirs.
She advised intending pilgrims who wishes to upgrade to enjoy the services of tent D should do that early before travelling saying that late upgrade was responsible for many of the problem encountered in causes the problems encountered in Saudi.
Reports say many of Nigerians who did late upgrade were denied approval while others who did upgrade got approval, however, they came to the tent with additional numbers of pilgrims.
She advocated strict compliance to rules of the Hajj authorities in order to prevent future occurrences.
According to her, pilgrims deserve value for their money noting that it is the reason why the right thing must be done at the right time.
Appealing to her clients, Umar admitted that while lessons have been learnt, the company has now put in place strategies to deal with such incidences, if they arise.
