Transactions on the floor of Nigerian Exchange sustained bullish run, gaining N18 billion.

Market capitalisation of listed equities appreciated by 0.05 per cent to N36.882 trillion from N36.864 trillion reported the previous day.

The NGX All Share Index also increased by 32.70 basis points to 67133.19 points from 67100.49 points reported on Wednesday.

An analysis of the investment showed that Thomas Way led gainers table during the day, gaining 9.79 per cent to close at N2.58 per share, Courtvellle Business Solutions followed with a gain of 8.77 per cent to close at N0.62 per unit, Deap Capital added 8.00 per cent to close at N0.27 per share, AfriPrudential grew by 7.69 per cent to close at N7.00 per unit, Unilever gained 6.04 per cent to close at N14.05 per share.

Conversely, Cornerstone Insurance recorded the highest loss during the day, shedding 6.06 per cent to close at N1.55 per share, Mansard trailed with a loss of 3.61 per cent to close at N4.00, Regal insurance declined by 2.86 per cent to close at N0.34 per share, United Capital down by 2.07 per cent to N16.55 per share while Transnational Corporation of Nigeria fell by 2.02 per cent to close at N6.30 per unit.

Volume of trades declined by 101.00 million, representing 24.61 per cent as Investors traded 309.32 million shares valued at N4.55 billion in 5588 deals against 410.320 million shares worth N4.456 billion in 5637 deals.

Transactions in the shares of Fidelity Bank led market activities during the day, exchanging 61.780 million shares valued at N511.531 million, AccessCorp followed with account of 54.479 million shares cost N860.089 million, Zenith Bank traded 20.481 million shares exchanged worth N649.284 million, Transnational Corporation of Nigeria sold a total.of 12.916 million shares valued at N82.260 million, Universal insurance exchanged 12.618 million shares cost N3.027 million.
