FG signs gas deals with 10 coys

As part of efforts towards unlocking the full potential of the country’s gas sector, the Federal Government has urged stakeholders in the gas sector to scale up gas revolution in Nigeria saying it underscores President Bola Tinubu-led government’s resolve to place Nigeria at the forefront of global energy transition.
The Minister of State, Petroleum Resources (Gas), Ekperikpe Ekpo, stated this at the signing ceremony between the Midstream and Downstream Gas Infrastructure Fund (MDGIF) and ten equity partners which was held on Thursday at the NNPCL Towers, Abuja.
According to Ekpo who is also the chairman MDGIF, the ceremony did not just align with national priorities practical action but display the government’s dedication to fostering growth, enhancing energy security, and building a resilient economy for generations to come.
