Florence Onwuanukwu takes over NAIC as Folashe’s tenure ends

The Nigeria Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC) has announced the end of tenure of Mrs. Folashade Joseph as Managing Director of and the handing over of responsibilities to General Manager Underwriting, Mrs Florence Onwuanukwu in acting capacity as the Managing Director.

According to Deputy General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Magdalene Omosimua, during Folashe’s tenure, the Corporate not only evolved in its core mandate, but also gained new grounds in service delivery.

In a brief handing over ceremony which took place in the Managing Director’s office, on the 10th of April, 2025, the Acting Managing Director, Mrs Florence Onwuanukwu thanked the outgoing Managing Director for leadership and vision.

Mrs Folashade thanked the Federal Government for giving her the opportunity to serve in that capacity, she also thanked the staff of the organisation for their cooperation, according to her, she is confident that Acting Managing Director would bring her wealth of experience to bear towards a greater NAIC.

Florence Onwuanukwu has over 34 years’ experience in the Insurance industry.
