Foundation commences free education for indigent children in Kogi community

The Hajia Sa’adat Aliu Foundation has established an all expense paid primary school education to assist indigent children of in Eika-Adagu community and its environ.

The school is located in Eika-Adagu Newlayout, in Okehi Local Government of Kogi state.

Alhaji AbdulAzeez Aliu, told Business Affairs that the establishment of the school is part of his effort to give back to the society.

Education they say is the bedrock of every society. It’s on this note that I am giving back to the society through this foundation,” he said.

He urged the relevant agencies of government to witness the ceremony.

Hajia saadat Aliu foundation according to the management is dedicated to providing free and quality education to children in Kogi State who come from underprivileged backgrounds. 

“We believe that education is a fundamental right and a powerful tool for creating a better future for our children.

“As a renowned philanthropist who has made significant contributions to the field of education, your presence at the event would greatly be valued and appreciated.

“During the event, you will have the opportunity to witness firsthand, impact of our support and generosity on the lives of our students. You will meet our dedicated staff, interact with our talented students, and see the results of our educational programs.

“Your presence at the launching and end of the session activities will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on our students and motivate them to pursue their educational goals with renewed enthusiasm,” the school management stated.

The graduation ceremony of the school which began two years ago comes up on the 3rd of August, 2024 at the school premises. It will also mark the official launch of the free education programme.
