The nation’s equity market on Tuesday sustained growth profile gaining N62 billion as bulls continue to dominate the market.

Market capitalisation of listed equities increased by 0.11 per cent to N56.670 trillion from N56.608 trillion reported the previous day.

The NGX All Share Index also appreciated by 109.31 basis points to 100075.28 points from 99966.28 points recorded on Monday.

An analysis of the Investment showed that United Capital led gainers table, gaining 10 per cent to close at N33.00, Cutix followed with gain of 9.84 per cent to close at N5.58 per share, SUNUAssurance added 7.75 per cent to close at N1.39 per unit Cornerstone Insurance gained 7.69 per cent to close at N2.10 per unit and UACN increased by 7.42 per cent to close at N15.20 per unit.

On the contrary, Redstarex topped losers’ chart, dropping by 9.82 per cent to close at N3.95 per unit, Mcnichols trailed with 9.01 per cent to close at N1.01 per unit, Deap Capital down by 5.77 per cent to close at N0.49 per share, Eterna fell by 4.44 per cent to close at N0.49 per unit, Universal insurance down by 2.78 per cent to close at N0.35 per share.

Investor traded 368.392 million shares valued at N7.424 billion in 8151 deals against 362.429 million worth N7.367 billion exchanged hands the previous day in 8405 deals.

Transactions in the shares of Zenith Bank led market activities with 57.420 million shares valued at N2.246 billion, AccessCorp followed with account of 36.745 million shares cost N707.168 million, GTCO Plc traded 29.160 million shares valued at N1.329 billion, Jaiz Bank exchange 28.342 million shares cost N60.940 million while United Bank for Africa sold a total of 20.307 million shares cost N466.156 million.
