NNPC Ltd speaks on fuel supply situation in Lagos, Abuja

The NNPC Ltd has said that the discharge disruptions in the discharge of petroleum products from some vessels is responsible for the tightness being experienced at the moment in Lagos and Abuja

In a statement by Chief Corporate Communications Officer NNPC Ltd Olufemi Soneye, seen by Blueprint on Saturday, the company is endeavouring to resolve the situation. 

“The NNPC Ltd wishes to state that the tightness in fuel supply and distribution witnessed in some parts of Lagos and the FCT is as a result of a hitch in the discharge operations of a couple of vessels.

“The Company further states that it is working round the clock with all stakeholders to resolve the situation and restore normalcy in the operations,” the company said.
