TCN to carry out preventive maintenance at Okene transmission substation

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced that it would carry out a exercise on its Okene 132/33kV Transmission substation.
According to a statement by GM (Public Affairs) of TCN Ndidi Mbah: “The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) notifies the public of a planned maintenance exercise at its Okene 132/33kV Transmission substation today, April 8, 2026, from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.
“The exercise will enable TCN crew carry out annual preventive maintenance on a 60MVA power transformer.
“Please note that there will be no outage as a result of this maintenance, the load will be transferred to an alternative transformer.”
