We are not planning to increase petrol price, NNPC Ltd. tells Nigerians
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Ltd. assures the Nigerians that it has no intentions of increasing the cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol.
Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd, Olufemi O. Soneye, in a statement urged Nigerians to disregard such rumours saying it was not in the company’s agenda for 2024.
“NNPC Ltd. urges Nigerians to disregard unfounded rumours and assures them that there are no plans for an upward review of the PMS price.
Motorists nationwide are advised against engaging in panic buying, as there is presently ample availability of PMS across the country,” the statement read.
