You are committed, dedicated to national development; Akume commends Engr Shehu Hadi Ahmad

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Senator George Akume has paid glowing tribute to the outgoing Executive Secretary of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Engr. Shehu Hadi Ahmad.

A letter from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) signed by the Permanent Secretary, General Services, sighted by our correspondent, 

acknowledged and appreciated the successful completion of Engr. Shehu Hadi Ahmad’s four years tenure as the Executive Secretary of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA). 

“Your dedication, professionalism, and commitment to national development, particularly in the Federal Capital Territory, are duly noted and commendable. As you move on to the next phase of your career, kindly accept the best wishes of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) for continued success and fulfilment in your future endeavours”, the SGF said. 

Meanwhile, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Nyesom Wike, has in the same vein, approved the payment of full severance entitlements to the outgoing Executive Secretary of the FCDA following the successful completion of his tenure. 

Wike who approved the payment of the allowances, noted that Engr Hadi was entitled to the payment of the severance entitlements having meritoriously served as the Executive Secretary of the FCDA up till Friday, the 21st of November, 2025.

It could be recalled that Engr Shehu Hadi Ahmad, a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, was appointed on 22nd November 2021 for an initial period of four years.
