FCE Okene gets approval to commence NCE/ Degree programme

The Federal College of Education Okene (FCE) has commenced admission into the 2026/2027 Federal Government approved five-year Nigeria Certificate in Education and Degree programme.
The College, debuted the programme last year when it was approved with good numbers of students who applied for the programme.
The Federal Executive Council (FEC), through the Federal Ministry of Education has granted approval to fifteen (15) Federal Colleges of Education in Nigeria to run the combined National Certificate in Education and Degree program to strengthen the country’s educational sector.
The College, have commenced admission into the second year of the programme in the institution.
According to the institution, the candidate for 100L do not need to sit for UTME Examination, Candidates are required to have their O’Level results at credit in 4 relevant subjects and qualified NCE holders can also gain admission through the Direct Entry Degree programme.
The candidates for the Direct Entry Degree programme require the appropriate O’Level qualifications in addition to their NCE results
The All-Staff Association of Federal College of Education, Okene, will award full scholarship to all successful candidates for the first year NCE programme, to encourage the prospective students.
