The Aliko Dangote Foundation (ADF) has unveiled its Women’s Share Subscription Grant Initiative. The pioneering programme is designed to support up to two million low- and middle-income Nigerian women to acquire equity through the ongoing Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE (DPRP).
The nationwide initiative targets independent female applicants earning ₦100,000 or less monthly, verified participants in designated ADF programmes (including CRoWN, ADFIN, and Mu Shuka Iri), eligible non-commissioned servicewomen, service spouses, and verified service widows. By facilitating equity ownership, the Foundation aims to foster long-term investing habits and empower vulnerable women with sustainable wealth creation opportunities.
To ensure broad accessibility, the initiative offers two distinct pathways: Matching Grant Track: Eligible independent applicants who subscribe to a minimum of 10 shares will receive an ADF-funded subscription for an additional 10 shares in their name, and Unconditional Grant Track: ADF will fully fund an application for 20 shares on behalf of verified service widows and participants in designated ADF programmes who meet eligibility and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
To maintain transparency, ADF emphasized that grant funds will be applied directly through the designated issuing house. No cash payments will be disbursed to individuals, government bodies, or sponsors, and all allotted shares will be registered directly in the beneficiaries’ names.
To participate, applicants must be Nigerian women aged 18 or above residing in the country, fulfill KYC verification, and receive no more than one ADF share grant. Having an existing Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) account is not mandatory, as new accounts will be generated via Vetiva Capital Management for successful applicants.
The initiative is executed in partnership with Vetiva Capital Management and the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) using Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)-approved infrastructure. All subscription processes and allotment procedures strictly adhere to the official IPO Prospectus.
Eligible independent applicants can apply exclusively through the official portal at ipo.alikodangotefoundation.org. The offer closes on 13 October 2026.
The Foundation urged the public to remain cautious of fraudulent schemes, advising applicants never to share sensitive details like PINs or OTPs, or make payments to third-party agents, as participation requires no secondary fees.
