The Chairman of the Parents Teachers Association of Hajia Saadat Aliu Foundation (HSAF), Momoh Ibrahim has commended the vision of the Founder of Hajia Saadat Aliu Foundation, Alh. Aliu AbdulAzeez for his unrelenting philanthropy in providing all-expense paid education for over one hundred pupils in the foundation.
Speaking during the end of the academic year, when parents came to the school for the report sheets of their wards, he said the parents can’t appreciate the founder enough with what he has done for the coming generations.
According to him “With heartfelt gratitude, we express our sincere appreciation and highest praise to a rare philanthropist, Alh. Aliu Abdulazeez, the Chief Executive Officer of the Hajia Saadat Aliu Foundation”
He said, five years ago, Alh. Abdulazeez established this foundation and named it in honour of his late wife, Hajia Saadat Abdulazeez, which began with Basic One pupil has now grown to cover Basic Four, expecting Basic 5 upon resumption into the new academic session.
He noted, this is the first of its kind in the history of our community, and indeed the Kogi State. We were told that he had the plan to take it beyond Primary education to Secondary education, we are witnessing completely free, quality education as he takes the teachers and other supporting staff welfare into the state government approved Minimum wage.
The host community is Eika-Adagu New Layout, Okehi LGA ofKogi State, but he mandated the management to extend the gesture to the children of less privileges in neighboring communities of Nagazi, and Otite.
The free education has deliberately targeted the children of less privileged and orphans who ordinarily been roaming the streets have now gained access to quality education and to ensure excellence, the foundation has employed enough qualified teachers to nurture and guide these innocent children, he said.
Momoh appeal to Kogi state government, well-meaning individuals and corporate bodies to come to the support of Alh. Aliu Abdulazeez in uplifting and sustaining the Hajia Saadat Aliu Foundation. He said, “the partnership will help reach out to more children and secure their future”.
He therefore acknowledged the effort of the Director, Alh. Aliu Yahaya, Head Teacher and School Coordinator, Mallam Lukman Saki, all teaching and none-teaching staff for their dedication and commitment in ensuring the right thing must be done at all times.
He prayed Almighty Allah to grant increase to the wealth, knowledge, and wisdom of the founder and to his late wife, Hajia Saadat, may Almighty Allah grant her Jannatul Firdaus and forgive all her shortcomings.
